Mamavation Monday Post for 4/5

Well this week was an ok week lol. I went to the Zoo here for the first time with a couple of my friends and Baby D. He slept most of the time that we were there, but it was nice to be able to walk around and talk to a couple of great friends. For Easter Hubs, Baby D and I went and walked at the park for our weekly family walk. Baby D yet again slept the whole time, which wasn't much fun since Hubs wanted to take him down the slide. I'm still dealing with a lot of back pain, but hoping that the new meds will help with that soon. I didn't lose any weight this week, but that's ok, I'm hoping that my motivation will show itself again this week and I'll see some loss. I will be using my Wii  EA Sports Active this week more, I think I will just do a regular workout this week with it and not a 30 day challenge day since Hubs seems to like those workouts better. I'm still crossing my fingers that I'll be able to win a EA Sports Active More Workouts at the upcoming Twitter party for the #Mamavation Mom launch on the 12th.

We did really well with our meal planning this week for dinners, I was so proud of us. We did go out for dinner on Friday nite, but we had a coupon also so we thought it would be a good treat. The meal plan is ready for today and tomorrow at least, we are heading to the store tonite and I'll finish the rest of the plan this evening.

My goals for this week are to hopefully not be in a lot of pain all the time while working out so that I can get a good workout in. Another goal I have is to get some better sleep. Baby D has now decided that he would like to start sleeping on his side and when he gets in a position that he doesn't like he wakes up screaming which of course wakes up mommy. So that part will be twofold for both of us to improve our sleep which will hopefully improve many other parts of our day.
Congrats to our #mamavation mom finalists. I wish you the best of luck and to all the applicants, congrats on taking the first step to making a change for a healthier life. Can't wait till our upcoming Twitter party on April 12th to find out who the new moms will be.

Hope you back is feeling better. Congrats on winning the more workouts from me...I am still trying to get it ordered(waiting for my gift card activation to go through...but found out I can order it and mail it directly to you). I know it is not there so it will not help but about a month ago my back was bothering me and I did the wii fit yoga and the stretches from the more workouts and it really helped my back.

Good luck this week!

Good luck with getting sleep. That seems like the hardest thing to do with a baby. I hope your back starts feeling better. Good luck with your goals this week!

Good luck getting sleep straightened out.

I remember the days before my little guy could roll around easily by himself. he would often roll onto his stomach and then YELL like crazy haha

Ahhhh -- sleep!

I have a 7 month old who is just NOW (knock on wood) starting to get on a sleep schedule. The first six months were murderous -- I totally get why sleep deprivation is used a torture device!

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that you're having back pains. Five years ago, I was having severe back pains and was told by a friend to try seeing a chiropractor first, so I did. Turned out that I was so disaligned which manifested into back pains. After going back several times for treatments, my back and neck finally got better, without having to take pain meds.

I hope you start to feel better soon. --- @ImAHotMom at Fitness Family
